Classic teaching consists of lectures, assignments, a few learning features (field trips etc.) and the producing of written essays to prove your knowledge and gain marks. LiFE is different.

All students attend the weekly teaching sessions, each of which contain four elements of roughly equal time and importance: 1. Worship and prayer, 2. lectures, 3. interactive discussions, 4. Group work and discussion in pairs.  The format requires students to have Internet access and use a laptop or other electronic notepad for note taking.

The learning encountered in the weekly sessions is reinforced through devotions and personal prayer together with guided reflections. These are done during the one hour per day each student commits to the course programme. This gives each person individual time and space to think about what they have learned, and keep a journal of what they believe is important.

This is a new way of learning, which is personal, spiritual and responsive to God
